Baycox Piglet & Cattle 1L is a veterinary antiparasitic containing toltrazuril, designed to control coccidiosis in young livestock. It works by eliminating coccidia parasites at multiple life stages within the intestinal tract, preventing gut damage and supporting healthy growth. For piglets, Baycox is typically administered at 3–7 days old as a preventative measure.
Early treatment stops coccidiosis before symptoms develop, improving weaning weights and reducing scours during the critical early growth phase. For calves, it serves both preventative and therapeutic roles in high-risk environments or when infection is suspected. It helps reduce diarrhoea outbreaks and maintains feed conversion efficiency, protecting growth rates during vulnerable periods.
Coccidiosis—caused by Eimeria protozoan parasites—damages the gut lining and can lead to watery or bloody diarrhoea, poor weight gain, dehydration, and in severe cases, mortality in young animals. Baycox addresses this risk early, supporting animal welfare and production outcomes.
